Moses was born a slave. Then, he was raised as royalty. However, after a major mistake, he had to run for his life and became a shepherd. After many years, God appears to him and tells him that He is going to use him to set his birth-family free from their owners.
Moses helps lead over six thousand people through deserts and mountains, relying on God for food and water. He receives the laws for the new country of Israel straight from God. However, because of a tragic mistake, he never gets to go into the promised land.
After the people of Israel ask Samuel for a king, the Lord tells Samuel to annoint Saul as king. As king, Saul organizes an army and takes them out to battle. They win great victories, yet the Lord is not pleased with Saul's disobedience and tells Samuel to go and annoint a new king.
After Samuel, unknown to Saul, annoints David as the new king, David is chosen to work for Saul, playing his harp for the king. Later, when the armies go to war, David his met with the biggest battle to date in his yound life.
